TAIKO CLASS SCHEDULES

 

Here at Kumo we run weekly classes.  The classes are divided into 4 terms per year with each term average about 10 weeks.  Twice a year we also have "Introduction to Taiko Course" which is a great way to learn about taiko drumming as we will guide you through the basics and fundamentals of playing taiko - keep an eye out for our Intro Courses, or drop us a line! 

 

 Friday Night Class:

• 6pm to 7:30pm Open Class (mixed levels)

 

Saturday Classes: 

• 12noon to 1:30pm Beginner/Level 1 Class

• 1:30pm to 3pm Level 2 Class

• $25 per class, please bring cash

2025 Taiko Class Schedule:

• Term 1 -  starts on the weekend of 17th/18th January for 10 weeks

(Please note there are NO TAIKO CLASSES on 14th/15th February and 28th/29th March)​

• Term 2 - starts on the weekend of 2nd/3rd May for 10 week (NO TAIKO CLASSES on 14th/15th June; 20th/21st June and 27th/28th June)

• Term 3 - starts on the weekend of 15th/16th August for 10 weeks (not open to public due to concert preparation)

• Term 4 - starts on the weekend of 14th/15th November for 6 weeks (short term due to holiday season)
